UCSC: Santa Cruz Baroque Festival

Welcome to the 51st season of the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, a celebration of the rich tapestry of Baroque music. This season will include enchanting performances led by our Artist-in-Residence, Jörg Reddin. Maistro Reddin is a distinguished Baroque organist, vocalist, and conductor who holds J. S. Bach’s old job in Arnstadt, Germany.
At the UCSC Recital Hall, hear Jörg Reddin sing in the bass-baritone range. He will be accopmanied by Sheila Willey in the soprano range. Vlada Volkova-Moran will be playing the chest organ obligato and continuo. Marc Schachman will be playing the baroque oboe and oboe d’amore. All will be accompanied by the festival Barque Strings!
