The event is set in a gorgeous location located in the upper campus of the school (at Land of Medicine Buddha in Soquel).
Pledge a student or pledge yourself and hike the 8 Verses Trail.
Our annual Hike4Peace event is an opportunity to benefit others both locally and globally.
10% of proceeds go to a charitty selected by Tara Redwood Students.
We focus the event activities on Tara Redwood School’s values and facilitate activities for the entire family with the intention too celebrate World Peace
through Inner Peace.
The Hike-A-Thon is a great opportunity for all to set intention for inner peace
Enjoy several arts & crafts tables, face-painting and live music by a local talent. Great raffle prizes too so GET YOUR RAFFLE TICKETS AND WIN PRIZES!
Take part in the fun by collecting each of the 7 CCC color bracelets during the HIKE-A-THON, symbolic of the qualities of the
school’s CCC attributes. The hike-a-thon trail is 1 mile long and it is situated along the “8 Verses trail”.
The trail is inspired by the 8 Verses in Tibetan Buddhist teaching on how to transform challenges into happiness and peace.
We have 7 color string bracelets that a pledged hiker can collect each time they get to Verse 8.
