Big Basin docent will lead a fairly easy hike while telling the story of love in the woods. Under the tall trees visitors will hear the tales of fairy circles, the reproductive cycle of coast redwoods, squirrels, banana slugs and the acorn woodpeckers and if time allows the tried and true tale of lichen love.
Meet at the Big Basin visitor center at 10:45am. Dress in Layers, bring water (there is no potable water at the park) and a snack. 🌲
🚗 Participation is free, however, a $10 vehicle day-use fee will be charged upon arrival or we recommend you reserve your spot here: Big Basin Parking (cognitoforms.com)
