Stay for a panel with advocates from Housing Santa Cruz County, People First, and UCSC.Join us for a special evening as Santa Cruz YIMBY, in partnership with several leading housing nonprofits, hosts a FREE advance screening of Fault Lines, a powerful documentary set to enter the film festival circuit.
Fault Lines explores the housing crisis in San Francisco, but its themes resonate deeply with the challenges we face in Santa Cruz as well. The film weaves together the stories of a neighborhood fighting against developers, activists pushing for housing reform, and a family searching for stable housing.
After the screening, join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring local housing advocates such as Elaine Johnson (Housing Santa Cruz County), to bring he conversation home and exploring actionable solutions for our community. This is a unique opportunity to be among the first to view this important film and participate in a critical dialogue about housing in Santa Cruz.
