Little baby boy Alexander Joseph Rodriguez was born at 1:03 a.m. this morning to proud parents Veronikka Velez and Alejandro Rodriguez-Duarte of Watsonville. He was the first baby born in the new year in Santa Cruz County. Members of his extended family arrived at the hospital soon after and were delighted to meet him.
