People with many types of ailments are turning to Medical Cannabis for relief. In one survey, half of all cannabis users in Santa Cruz were above age 40! Seniors are finding cannabis especially useful for arthritis, insomnia and many other chronic illnesses. Compared to modern western medicines, cannabis users experience fewer side effects, lower costs and fewer doctor visits. Cannabis can be a strong medicine, so knowing how to use it correctly is important. We will discuss how to choose a specific type of Cannabis, strength parameters and forms and preparations. Heavy Metal Toxicity @ Westside New Leaf Market

This class will focus on the sources of heavy metal and chemical toxicity, how to test for it and how to safely and gently remove heavy metals. Heavy metal toxicity may prevent people from losing weight, getting healthier, and resolving chronic health issues you may not have realized are caused or hindered by heavy metal toxicity. These can include autoimmune diseases, dementia, TBI, autism, Parkinson’s, MS, asthma, and many other conditions. Q&A period following the presentation. About the Instructor: Dr. Danette L. Sutton is a second generation chiropractor, born and raised in Santa Cruz. She received a BS degree from Santa Clara University in Combined Sciences and her DC degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1984. She was certified as an Applied Clinical Nutritionist in 2015. She has studied extensively in subjects including over one thousand hours in homeopathy, in addition to orthopedics, radiology and nutrition, among many other topics. She has a passion for improving health through chiropractic and nutrition and develops an individualized protocol for each patient. Health comes from the inside-out and this requires more time than simply cutting off a pain signal. Her treatment addresses the underlying condition and not just the symptoms.
